My Top Twenty One!

Okay, a few of you muttered in response to my recent post listing My Favourite 112 tracks/songs, that’s all very well, but it’s not what you might call really selective, is it? Doesn’t pin you down to any real degree. Doesn’t – as the school newspaper editor says to Dorothy in ‘Gregory’s Girl’ – reveal the real you.

So, how about this … how about 21?

  1. i must check these out! Some of course I know, and Kodachrome is sublime, although I love the lyrics of The Boxer (in fact, so many of Paul Simon’s lyrics). Thank you!

  2. Only just picked up on this – not been receiving your blogposts of late even though we never unsubscribed! No matter. Fine list. Referring to the more niche artists – any list containing Joe Henry (that’s the Willie Mays song isn’t it?), Jerry Jeff and Bill Morrissey must, in and of itself, be a fine list. Nice to see Dee Hepburn get a mention too (sort of)! Best J&T

  3. Yes, that is the Wille Mays song. Not sur what’s going on with your subscription notification – maybe you could/should subscribe again to be sure? Best …
